Starting therapy can be daunting, & finding a therapist who is the right fit can be even tougher. I want you to know that I am so proud of you & am so glad you are here! I believe that we all need someone to talk to, & I would love to be that somebody for you! Going through life can be challenging, & it may feel like too much to handle on our own. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are & walk alongside you on your journey. My goal is to provide support & tools that empower you in whichever phase of life you might be in.
My approach is psychodynamic; however, I understand each person is unique & may benefit from a different approach. This is where I meet you where you are, learning more about your goal or goals, topics of interest, & what works well based on your feedback. I also enjoy working with adolescents/teens, adults, and couples and am working on my EMDR cert.
I am also a part of the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals & have a 7-year-old German shepherd who is a certified therapy dog through Pet Partners.
