I know that having an eating disorder is not easy and often misunderstood by friends and family. I want to help you work towards changing your attitude towards food and thoughts about your body by working with you to create and maintain a full and worthwhile life. I can help you improve and feel better by practicing evidence based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). You don't have to do it alone. I want to help you address your problems and create new, effective solutions.
I am a eating disorder specialist and an approved supervisor certified by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation. I am a DBT Linehan Board of Certification Board, Certified Clinician. DBT helps adults and adolescents struggling with emotion dysregulation to increase safety, improve mood, and relationships.
I practice comprehensive DBT which means I offer individual DBT psychotherapy, DBT skills group, and phone coaching. I also meet monthly with experts in the field of eating disorders and DBT in order to provide the most up to date treatment and expand my knowledge to better serve clients.
