Reaching out to find a therapist for your child may be an overwhelming experience. It means that your child may need some extra support, and that your efforts to find them that support are based in love and maybe some frustration. Perhaps you’ve noticed some concerning changes in your young child’s demeanor, a lack of confidence or increased temper tantrums. Maybe you've observed your teenager slipping into depression or anxiety as they merge into young adulthood. I’m here to support you and your family.
My style is warm, authentic, humorous, and compassionate. I work collaboratively with children, teens, and their families to create stories that they feel empowered to author. My goal as a therapist is to create space between the problems that confound your child so their true preferences for life can emerge.
I have a deep respect for children and teens resiliency and make it my job to meet them on their level and develop a therapeutic relationship where all of their feelings are validated and accepted. My objective as a therapist is to empower youth with the emotional armor they can carry into adulthood.
