My passion is helping people be the best version of themselves. I want my patients to feel empowered to heal themselves over time. One of my most important roles as a psychiatrist is to instill hope for my patients. Anxiety and depression is treatable, and with alternative therapies along with medication management, we have even more options for patients who struggle. We've extended our services to all of Utah via video visits from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Day by day life teaches us something new about ourselves and how we adjust to the obstacles that emerge in front of us. As a licensed counselor working in the field for over 10 years, I have supported a variety of individuals and families, with the use of effective clinical interventions and personal guidance as they navigate through the storms of life. Life can be extremely difficult to navigate at times, especially when going through major life transitions. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing family conflict, depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, Grief and Loss, communication challenges, self-esteem issues. I am equipped with techniques that promote both verbal and non-verbal expressions in a therapeutic manner rather than stigmatizing. As a Substance Abuse Profesionnal (SAP) evaluate employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulation and make recommendations education, treatment , continuing care, referrals for treatment, and follow-up testing.

I believe individuals develop behavioral and emotional patterns which may begin as short term solutions, but can develop into long term problems. By cultivating awareness, clarifying values and approaching life with purpose; individuals, families and couples can minimize emotional suffering and move closer to their potential.

The mission of Peacemakers Christian Family Counseling is to provide individual counseling, family counseling and organizational consultation services from a Christian perspective. Peacemakers' services are available to everyone. You don't have to be a Christian to receive services and you don't have to become a Christian to benefit from services offered. My approach to counseling and therapy is to operationalize the power of love in the process of healing. My theoretical orientation is grounded in person-centered theory which recognizes that we as people naturally strive to be all that God has blessed us to be.

My approach is solution oriented while being eclectic, exploratory and expansive. Therapy is focused on establishing a full picture of client history, relationships and current levels of functioning. Then collaboratively a treatment plan is established to meet client goals.
