Hello, I am Ariel Powell, a Licensed Master of Social Worker in private practice (virtual/telehealth therapy) at KCW Psychological Services. My work has focused on helping individuals with anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships (family, platonic, romantic), work-life/school-life balance, and life transitions.
I utilize modalities such as CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based techniques to help clients adopt healthier ways of navigating their challenges, growth, and healing. I also incorporate creative techniques (e.g., artistic expression, journaling, music, video and cinema therapy interventions).
