I want to help clients identify and resolve issues in their lives that might get in the way of realizing their full potential. This could include improving themselves in their career, their relationships, or their overall quality of life. I am very interested in treating issues pertaining to trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss.
I make use of many therapeutic modalities and have found value in applying different techniques based on individual needs. I focus on psychodynamic methods that look at unconscious motivations, past experiences that affect the present, and dealing with difficult emotional events. I work collaboratively to gain insight to help individuals improve their lives.
It can be a big step asking for help. However, it is a necessary action in all therapies. I want to hear the difficulties that individuals are facing and provide as supportive and resourceful environment as possible, identifying barriers that might be holding each person back, and developing strategies to address the burdens in the lives of my clients.
