I hope my profile serves as a refreshing page to the person reading. Below is an overview of my approach and what you can expect as my client. I work with people who have anxiety, depression, and other issues that often result from unmet or neglected needs. Crucial needs such as connection, acceptance, trust, and self-fulfillment. When our needs aren't being met, we often experience painful emotions and overwhelming thoughts like sadness, anxiousness, anger and loneliness. To deal with these unwanted thoughts and feelings, we may engage in behaviors that seem to work for us, that may eventually become more harmful than helpful.
These behaviors are responses to stress and pain, and can be very hard to change, especially when we don’t have anything or anyone else to turn to. You ended up here because you are ready for a change or maybe you just want to understand yourself better to start.
