I'm currently providing in person and telehealth therapy for people struggling with mental health issues including borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and grief & loss. Treatment methods used include DBT, CBT, trauma informed care and addiction treatment.

Dr. Dunia Karana Zebari is a clinical psychologist with extensive education and training in evidence-based psychotherapies. She received a BA degree from Oakland University, obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy, and completed a 3-year NIH research fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She specializes in treatments of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and insomnia disorders. Dr. Zebari has extensive experience in couples treatment.

Kellie Puro is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan who has been practicing since 1997. She has a Bachelors in Psychology, a Masters in Counselor Education and is pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education. Kellie has more than 25 years of experience treating diverse populations of clientele. She has certification as an advanced addiction specialist, having extensive knowledge treating dual diagnosed clients. Outside of work, Kellie enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, with whom she tries to take a vacation once a year.

Passionate about catering the best support to each individual, I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of education and training in this constantly developing field. My career started in Early Childhood Education, where my passion for working with young children and their families directed me to grow expertise into additional areas by pursuing and excelling in the Oakland University Counseling Master's program. As a Counselor for the Oakland County Sheriff's Department, I was an acting subject matter expert for substance abuse, depressive and suicidal ideation, and schizoaffective disorders.

In my 20 years practicing in the healing profession, I have gained tremendous experience working with people who have felt limited by, or did not respond well to, traditional talk therapy. When we are dealing with emotional triggers, we often get so dysregulated that we can't think clearly or behave how we truly want. I specialize in breaking out of rinse and repeat patterns without having to rehash your life story or relive painful memories. One of the main reasons people avoid therapy is they can feel worse after digging things up, so I intend that each client is grounded and confident that they have tools when leaving a session.

Spring works with individuals (age 18+), older adults and families, to provide them with support with managing their health through recovery and maintenance of their psychological health. She has more than 31 years of experience working with individuals, families, and children in community-based, school-based, and hospital settings.
