I am a counseling psychologist with expertise in assisting athletes across diverse levels and fields. Additionally, I offer guidance in psychological skills encompassing motivation, goal establishment, concentration, self-assurance, and emotional regulation.

I work with clients in a wide variety of problem areas including sex and intimacy (either couples or individual therapy), anxiety and fear, weight and self-esteem, depression and bipolar, and trauma (sexual;combat), among others. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has spent most of my life in Northcentral Wisconsin including receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW-Stevens Point. I then received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed my clinical internship at Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Waterford, Wisconsin.

I work with people who are tired of being stuck in their negative thoughts and behaviors and are ready to discover their God-given purpose and start doing it without the use of alcohol or other self-sabotaging behaviors. (it may even be an addiction to food) I specialize in empowering clients to live a spirit-filled life free from addiction. I enjoy doing private retreats with women to help them get unstuck from their life challenges and move forward to a better life.

Like nature, we ebb and flow through different seasons in life. While some seasons of life can feel overwhelming, these are often the times when we can experience the most growth. Therapy can be a wonderful tool to help individuals seek personal growth, overcome struggle, and thrive in life.

I specialize in a wide range of psychological evaluations. Most of these are related to the criminal legal system. I assess risk of recidivism and amenability to treatment for those charged with sexual offending, both in the adult and juvenile system. I evaluate for competency to stand trial and whether there is support for a plea of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. I use formal testing, actuarial predictive instruments, review of records, collateral information and clinical interview to formulate my recommendations. I also see therapy clients who seek a fuller understanding of who they are.

Life is challenging, but there is hope. My clients come from a variety of backgrounds and experience a variety of struggles, but all have one thing in common. Everyone needs to feel understood, supported, and heard in order to grow. I work with my clients in a warm and supportive environment to help them understand their experiences, thoughts, emotions, relationships, and themselves.
