The Caring Tree: Children & Counseling Center in Wausau provides therapy to children of all ages and their families. Our focus is on improving the overall wellness of children who are experiencing post-trauma, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, ADHD, and high functioning autism. Therapy facilitates communication and healing while supporting the family.
We use various play therapy and art materials (paint, clay, pastels, charcoal, etc) to enhance therapy with children. In addition we use therapy dogs and other small animals to help facilitate communication and healing.
