Hello! I am Rose and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Hawaii, and a National Certified Counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, etc. My counseling style is empathetic and non-judgemental. I believe in treating all of my clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

For 30 years I worked in adoption and family coaching. I am experienced in trauma, parenting, infertility, gender/ sexuality/racial identity and relationship building. I use a variety of interventions, and work with clients to set goals to plan for successful outcomes. I am eager to learn about my clients, and to figure out how best to help. Matthew Johnson, MS, recently graduated with his Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, Spring 2021. Utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the up and coming concept of Geek Therapy, Matthew's goal is to remotely help individuals, couples, and families in the community while obtaining his LMHC license in Hawaii. Matthew has experience providing counseling services in group and individual settings for depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and family issues.
