There is no single path to navigating a well-lived and resilient life. With a busted GPS and an outdated map, we can find ourselves driven by the wind and the rain--lost and alone in a shadowy forest. I help clients rebuild trust in their navigating system, and grow their resilience to handle the inevitable difficulties in life. I am a somatic therapist, meaning I enlist the resources of your body and nervous system to guide you in moving from a stuck and uncertain path toward one more grounded in resilience.

I am an EMDR certified therapist, with a focus on EMDR/Natural Processing -- a somatic (body-centered) approach to EMDR. I have additional training in Somatic Experiencing, and Polyvagal Theory and trauma. I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500, E-RYT-200), and am a LifeForce Yoga for Mood Management Practitioner.

It can be hard to reach out for help, and yet here you are, trusting your inner compass and taking steps on your path to a brighter future. I believe in your ability to grow your resilience, to bend but not break, and to bounce back stronger, more fulfilled, and with a greater capacity to hold life's inevitable ups and downs. This online 12 week class focuses on building knowledge and skills to restore and strengthen our capacity to bounce back and stay positive. We all need resilience, our ability to adapt and cope to meet challenging times, to come back to ourselves when feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed. In this class, we learn some of the neurobiology of the brain and how it is designed to handle stress. Powerful, experiential practices for building inner resources to help grow our capacity for resilience are introduced and practiced each week. Here, you can begin to grow your ability to bounce back, even in these trying times.
