Hi, I'm Jeffrey Spike, AKA Spike the Psych. Unlike several Tele-Health providers who overcharge, I'm certified, I charge less, and I'm excellent at what I do. I've been a licensed educational psychologist since 2012, while working full time for LAUSD since 2005. I was the recipient of the Los Angeles Association of School Psychologists Outstanding Psychologist of the Year award. With 20 years of experience, I have successfully identified the primary strengths and needs of students with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavior difficulties; and I get them the accommodations and support they deserve for success.

Welcome! I am Ruby, I am so glad you made it to my page. I am a relational psychotherapist, which means I value human connections and the client-therapist relationship. My approach is holistic and person-centered. I often integrate psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, and values-based approaches to address client challenges. Together, I hope to address the challenges you have been facing by processing past and present experiences and developing a greater sense of self and belonging. I typically work with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, identity issues, and family/cultural stressors.

It is my passion and privilege to assist my clients in feeling alive, connected and at peace in their relationships and within themselves. Every day I hear clients say that our work has truly transformed their lives - that they are no longer triggered by old patterns, that their confidence and happiness is greater than they have ever experienced. Changes such as these are possible through a collaborative exploration of past and present issues in an atmosphere of safety, compassion and respect - respect for the individual and respect for the mind's ability to heal.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have had extensive training and experience working with adults (individuals and couples), children and adolescents for over 10 years.

I have a wide range of training and experience working to help people with depression, anxiety, and problems with attention, concentration, and organization. This includes children with learning and behavior problems and adults with social interaction difficulties. Soldiers Project to treat soldiers returning from deployment, with deployment related problems, and their families. My primary goal is to aid people in finding their way to a happier life by identifying emotional and cognitive barriers.
