Dr. Tara DeLuco is a pediatric neuropsychologist and California certified school psychologist practicing in the Los Angeles area. She specializes in providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and consultation for children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental, cognitive, attentional, learning, and/or social-emotional challenges, as well as those with current medical conditions and complex medical histories. Dr. DeLuco draws upon her neuropsychological training, and years of experience as a school psychologist, to provide a comprehensive, individualized, and evidence-based assessment and treatment approach.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 35 years of private practice experience. I trained within APA-accredited doctoral programs and internship programs. I am licensed to practice psychology in both California and Colorado. I specialize in treating couples and individual adults presenting with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, substance abuse, and relational conflict and dissatisfaction. I am trained in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy, but I also apply cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and interpersonal psychotherapy techniques to address the best methods for each individual and his or her issues and needs.

I conduct psychological testing for a variety of purposes, including forensic evaluations and expert witness work, neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and damage from brain injury, and psychoeducational evaluations to examine whether learning disorders exist.These evaluations conclude with detailed written reports use for diagnosis/treatment planning, individualized educational plans (IEP), and criminal and civil courtroom cases including fitness for duty, workers' compensation, harassment issues, ability to parent, and professional board licensing disputes.
