As a coach’s kid and competitive athlete, I learned that sport has a tremendous impact on the lives of diverse young people. In my work as a licensed psychologist for youth and families in the Phoenix area, I have come to more fully appreciate the ways coaches and teams impact the overall development and wellness of my patients. In my current role as faculty member at ASU, I've conducted sport psychology research and have published books related to work with diverse teams (The Warrior Mentality series).
