Through a blend of interventions I assist children, adults, parents, and couples in overcoming their anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, dissociation, traumas, grief, and relationship patterns and conflict.

Delving into one’s inner workings can at times be intimidating and daunting, and I am here to help you explore your inner depths through our work together. It is courageous to engage in this form of exploration and oftentimes going to these places requires the presence of another, someone to help hold the burden and witness the growth and insights that are gained. I work with adolescents, teens, and young adults into mid life; creating a safe therapeutic environment, where you will be able to uncover new insight into your behaviors, relationships and whatever else might be causing pain or discord in your daily life.

Forrest has sat with elders in their dying process, helped chauffeur young adults through the existential turmoil, and attended to the many others needs for compassion, authenticity, and simple humanity that many of us long for. In 2008, Forrest deployed to Iraq and witnessed first hand an incredible amount of suffering. This helped to awaken Forrest's heart to the dire need of care, compassion, and human kindness. Later, Forrest would go on to organize community events for homelessness, humanitarian crisis, healing through the arts and mindfulness practices. Forrest continues to strive toward a world of caring compassion for all.

Dr. Sara Lewis is Associate Professor and Chair of Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology, and Faculty Co-Director for Psychedelic Studies at Naropa University.
