I came to this profession through my own personal experience with severe anxiety. As a young woman, I suffered from panic disorder and agoraphobia, and I found my life increasingly limited by my fears. In my practice, I have devoted myself to helping others find freedom from disabling anxiety. I provide specialized treatment for children, adolescents and adults- all ages can suffer from these life limiting anxiety conditions.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I work with a variety of issues affecting adolescents and adults. I have a particular speciality in helping girls and women who are having difficulties adjusting to major life changes. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received a Master's degree in Somatic Psychology, (Body Psychotherapy) from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I have significant experience working with families, adolescents, children, and adults all over the world. Among other extensive work with children from 2 to 18 years, I have worked with orphans in Mexico that were survivors of significant trauma and abuse and in Colombia with a group of displaced women, survivors of war. My therapeutic focus centers on the integration of the body and the mind in order to help my clients flourish.

I have spent the past 20 years helping adolescents (and their families) with the work of growing into healthy, happy adults. My background includes teaching high school, running a summer camp, school counseling, and directing September High School. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have brought these experiences into my clinical work.

Forrest has sat with elders in their dying process, helped chauffeur young adults through the existential turmoil, and attended to the many others needs for compassion, authenticity, and simple humanity that many of us long for. In 2008, Forrest deployed to Iraq and witnessed first hand an incredible amount of suffering. This helped to awaken Forrest's heart to the dire need of care, compassion, and human kindness. Later, Forrest would go on to organize community events for homelessness, humanitarian crisis, healing through the arts and mindfulness practices. Forrest continues to strive toward a world of caring compassion for all.
