I am a Licensed Professional Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor who loves using Art Therapy and Play Therapy interventions as a safe and fun way to connect with children and adolescents. I work hard to create an approachable and non-threatening atmosphere with all my clients so they can accomplish their goals and adjust to life’s challenges. I started my career in inpatient hospital settings where I developed a strong passion for helping kids, teens, and families. Now, as a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, I enjoy working with parents to broaden their parenting toolkits.

I love working with individuals struggling with of trauma, depression, anxiety, and perinatal/postpartum issues. I specialize in treating first responders, medical providers, or others who experience trauma in their profession. I deeply enjoy working with veterans and specialize in treating female service members who experienced sexual trauma while serving. I have special interest in working with artists and creators to help address creative blocks as well as perfectionism. I also have specialty experience with emerging adults and college students in transition.

I am an EMDR Consultant and I approach treatment from a holistic perspective. I believe in treating the root of the presenting problem versus solely treating the symptoms. I enjoy supporting patients through their journey of breaking patterns that no longer serve them. Create Change, Create Wellness in your Life! The Collective for Psychological Wellness is a group practice that offers individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy. We offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills training for our clients with a developmental focus. We offer an intensive team-based treatment program that includes mentoring and coaching for the purpose of integrating therapeutic goals into real life action, especially for our clients who struggle with failure to launch and significant affect regulatory issues. We collaborate with psychotherapists in the community to offer mentoring and academic coaching services for their clients as well. We offer treatment that creates constructive and meaningful changes. We work with clients of all ages who present with a wide range of therapeutic interests. Some of our clients present with more serious affect dysregulation difficulties, while some of our clients are interested in personal growth.
