I was once told, "Everyone has problems, but those who are successful in life are the ones who got help." Prior to being in private practice, I spent four years as a counselor at Grapevine Valley Hope, a residential chemical dependency treatment center, helping adults begin to overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. My personal style is down-to-earth, non-judgmental & accepting but also direct.

This is not what you signed up for when you first got together. Back then, time together was fun and fulfilling. You were the best of friends. The sex was great. But now you can't seem to have a conversation without it turning into an argument. You go through the routines of life and do anything to avoid conflict. And sex? Forget it. It's not worth bringing it up. What now? Do you give up and plan your exit, or just settle for being roommates and learn to isolate the pain? Neither seems like a good option.

Sometimes life and things get to be "a bit too much." We all deal with things differently. My focus is helping clients chart a path towards greater wellbeing and fulfillment, so that they can ultimately live a happy and healthy life that matters. This means an individualized treatment plan and goals which we will collaborate together. My work is insight driven. I am passionate about helping others develop deeper understanding and acceptance for themselves, the world and the experiences which we encounter.
