I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas in Counseling with a focus on trauma. My work with trauma led me to seek specialized training in childhood abuse/neglect, self worth, and resiliency. With my expertise, I have dedicated my practice to helping clients overcome their emotional challenges, gain resilience, and find a path towards growth and empowerment. Matt (he/him) is a Licensed Psychological Associate, under the direct licensure and supervision of Diana Storey, PsyD, holding a MS in Psychology from Texas A&M Commerce, and offering extensive experience working with adolescents (14 and up), adults and couples. Matt can help with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and PTSD (including religious trauma), sleep disorders, eating disorders, marital/relationship problems, and a multitude of other presenting concerns related to emotional expression, interpersonal communication, and habit formation.

I have been working with clients of all ages including adolescents, the young adult population, children, and parents throughout my career through clinical interventions for challenging mental health issues, or coaching for the parents to go through the tough time for their teens. I believe that the most powerful thing during the therapy is the person's unique strength and desire for change. Emotional regulation is the key while rebuilding the new neurological pathway for our brain to process difficult life experiences.

Alex is a 1st gen counselor who works with children of all ages, adolescents, teens & young adults. She will collaborate with you in different therapeutic manners to find the best route together for you/ your child.
