When trauma goes untreated, we can become triggered in our everyday life, struggle with negative beliefs about ourselves, and can start feeling overwhelmed and stuck. We can even end up with physical pain, issues with sleep, feeling completely shut down, or always on edge. Trauma is not something we can always talk our way out of and you might find yourself actively avoiding talking about what you went through or feeling like talking about it isn't helping you feel better. As an EMDR trained therapist, I am passionate about and trained to help people get unstuck and get relief from their trauma.

Michelle La Spata is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. She has held licenses in Texas since 2021, but she has been practicing school psychology for 20 years. She graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas with a PhD in School Psychology. Dr. La Spata completed her post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Child Neuropsychology and Counseling Center in Dallas, Texas.

God never intended for us to face the problems in our lives apart from Him. He desires to be involved in the process of bringing about healthy and holy change in our lives. My client comes to me questioning who they are (identity problems) and having problems functioning in life and especially relationships. They have usually experienced trauma and abuse as children and are seeking to break maladaptive coping habits that are causing them pain. My joy is to help them alleviate their anxiety, depression and alienation while supporting them in discovering who they were created to be. Erin's role as your therapist is to help you achieve the socio-emotional goals that you set for yourself, broaden your worldview, increase your emotional intelligence, and prioritize your mental health. Tara Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2021. She has a Master's of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University and a Bachelor's of Science in University Studies from University of Texas at Arlington. Tara strives to help individuals who struggle with depression and anxiety. It is her mission to empower clients and provide them with the tools and coping strategies needed when stressors arise to improve daily functioning and quality of life.
