God never intended for us to face the problems in our lives apart from Him. He desires to be involved in the process of bringing about healthy and holy change in our lives. Jesus said that "Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." I strive to base my counseling approach firmly on Scripture. The Bible is God's perfect, powerful, life transforming and saving word. God has spoken, definitively, regarding all areas of our lives. He indeed has the answer for whatever your problem(s) may be.
My specialty is helping men who are struggling with various problems to get "unstuck" and to flourish in the roles and assignments that God has ordained for them. It's tough living as a godly man in today's world. Be encouraged, men- "God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine." (Ephesians 3:20)
Coming from a dysfunctional family, with a father who was disengaged in my life, I know what it's like to suffer from the "father wound."
