Are you in need of extra support? I'm here to help! I have a passion for working with older children and adolescents struggling with behavioral and emotional concerns. Conditions I commonly address include depression, anxiety, high functioning autism, ADHD, school resistance, and much more. I also have a background in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy, a common approach to working with children with behavioral concerns on the autism spectrum. In addition to working with children, I enjoy working with adults with conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, PTSD, and more.

I am interested in working with clients with all different needs, backgrounds and experiences. I am passionate about working with clients who are ready to have a safe, consistent and effective space to process their therapeutic needs. As an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, I am enthusiastic to implement this highly effective technique for various matters such as depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and more.

I love working with a mix of clients that range in presenting issues. I enjoy seeing parents that are navigating their child's queer or trans identity, adults exploring family of origin issues, or women struggle with self-esteem.

It takes a great amount of strength and courage to reach out and ask for help, or even explore that option. We can all use extra support at times throughout our life, whether we are experiencing high levels of stress, symptoms, or have been going through major adjustments in life. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor who believes therapy is a collaborative relationship that assists individuals in building their tool box, instills hope, and helps them overcome obstacles that create difficulty in their life.

I am an adolescent and adult therapist, as well as Director of Therapy Services for Advanced Behavioral Health Services, with credentials of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults in individual, family and group settings. Areas of expertise include: mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety, post-traumatic or acute stress, personality disorders, schizophrenia and delusional disorders, struggles with addiction, relationship issues, life transitions and loss/grief issues.

The client is looking for someone to process through their experiences, thoughts, and/or feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment in order to better understand themselves and how to cope with uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and events. This client wants a relaxed counselor who will also communicate with them honestly and collaboratively to support them where they are at now.

It feels hopeless. It is intimidating. It may even feel insurmountable. It is the pain of life, and it is real. But, what if I told you it is not hopeless? That you hold the key to making things better. Seeking help can feel equally daunting, but it is the first step of breaking through the negative cloud of despair. I meet my clients where they are in their life’s journey and I consider myself a “fellow traveler.” I join them it that journey to help them gain insight, to provide perspective, and to collaborate and determine the best course of treatment to regain the direction of their destination.

Christine Ruiz is a licensed clinical social worker. Christine is passionate about supporting people as they work toward their goals. She seeks to inspire her patients so they can become their best selves. Christine focuses on helping individuals heal and tap into their inner strengths. She achieves this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to her patient's concerns, and customizing a treatment plan that factors in the patient's cultural background, life experience, and personal goals. Christine has been providing therapy since 2016 and works with patients ages 12-64.

Hi! I'm Mitchel! I love getting to know new clients and walking beside them with compassion and empathy as they find their way in life. I use a style called CBT and have a strong focus on trauma-informed care. I work with my clients to identify and build ontheir strengths to tackle difficult obstacles and help them find the balance between accepting what they cannot control and making changes in areas they can control.
