I believe we have the potential to create a fulfilling life on every level. By engaging in the process of therapy, I have found that people are able to discover the courage and desire to change so they can seek a better, more complete way of being themselves, alone and in relationships. I approach each client as a unique individual and work to create a respectful and safe atmosphere where clients feel heard and their feelings validated. Through my active, caring and collaborative approach to psychotherapy, I hope to empower others to make positive changes in their lives and relationships.
I provide individual, couples and family therapy to people of all ages who are seeking help with a wide variety of difficulties. My areas of specialization include mood disorders, ADHD, behavioral issues, trauma, grief, and the effects of medical related concerns and/or chronic pain.
I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents and families. I work with parents to further develop their parenting skills. I also do psychological testing/ assessment. Additionally, I teach graduate students downtown who are in the seeking to become counselors and licensed clinical psychologists.
