Her paper on severe child abuse as torture has been downloaded in 83 countries. She speaks to international audiences on how to treat complex trauma in young people using innovative techniques that have been scientifically proven- including play-based, sensory, and experiential treatment (water, sand, nature), expressive treatments (art, music, animal, and yoga therapy,) and humanist therapy based on compassion for all people. She also provides expert witness and forensic services.
