I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and work with individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with anxiety, grief, depression, relational and marital stress, blended families, family conflict, and other issues. I also offer both Brainspotting and EMDR.

My practice centers around helping people who are dealing with intense life challenges like anxiety, depression, self esteem issues or relational conflict etc. The typical clients I see are professional men or women, athletes or performers, and teenage boys. People coming to therapy want change in their lives and are struggling. I believe people will change or heal if they have someone in their corner who cares, understands, and compassionately redirects them toward their own internal resources each week. My main goal is to help you find your own inner resource of calm and confidence.

I have over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings including community mental health, residential facilities, case management, and Private Practice since 2011. I work with a variety of client backgrounds, ages 10 and up. I do individuals, couples and family counseling. Please call with any questions.

Dr Nunley is an addiction psychologist and licensed marriage family therapist. She works with private clients, interns needing clinical supervision and consults for organizations that serve people with trauma and mental health struggles. Trauma-focused treatment is utilized as well as other holistic methods to achieve optimal wellness. Other areas of treatment specialty include substance misuse, body wellness, depression, anxiety, sexual trauma and first responder/military therapy.

Starting the journey into counseling can be scary and overwhelming. As a therapist, I want to come alongside my client and help them become the expert in their progress.  My experience has prepared me to work with children/adolescents, adults and families struggling with feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns of thinking. My counseling style is eclectic but is centered on warmth and acceptance with gentle nudging as we navigate through uncomfortable feelings. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who suffer with anxiety presentations.
