As a pastoral counselor, I offer professional faith-based counseling services, which encompass both theological and psychological components to those persons who are in need of becoming whole emotionally, mentally, relationally, and spiritually. This Christian perspective is grace-filled, confidential, and respectful to assist individuals with restoration and reconciliation so that a more fulfilling and fruitful life may be accomplished in the framework of relationships, family, church, community, and workplace.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults virtually throughout the states of Maryland and Texas and in-person at my office in far west Houston, Texas. My approach is collaborative and I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to express feelings openly. Sessions are tailored to address each client’s unique needs. I believe each client possesses inner strengths that, when nurtured and encouraged, can lead to healing and improved ability to cope.

I am currently not accepting new clients at this time. So much of our daily life involves interactions and relationships with others. Often these relationships are affecting us more than we realize and may cause difficulties in the home, at work or socially. I am here to help couples and individuals understand how to better manage their challenges such as depression, anxiety, personal loss, infidelity, substance abuse, and self-esteem issues. As a relationship therapist, I am experienced and trained to focus on relational issues as well as the everyday struggles of the individual.

Recognizing internal distress and seeking help from a professional can be an uncomfortable and courageous act. I hope to be a partner in your process of self-discovery, insight, and growth. My style tends to be collaborative, providing warmth and support while also encouraging honest emotional expression. I value personal exploration in a safe environment in order to improve self-understanding and self-acceptance. Fulfilling relationships with others are often a byproduct of this type of therapy, as is improved mood, increased self-confidence, and enhanced life satisfaction.

Throughout our lives, we often need support in overcoming personal and/or environmental challenges and addressing issues that prevent us from being successful, feeling fulfilled, and living healthy lives. Using a warm, genuine, and empathic approach, I work with clients to build trusting and collaborative relationships that help them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, experience emotional relief, and feel empowered to make profound change. By creating a safe and accepting environment, we will explore difficult or confusing experiences together with the goal of making sense of difficulties and where they may have originated.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with extensive experiencing diagnosing and providing mental health treatment using an evidenced based trauma informed approach. I work with a wide range of concerns with a focus on treating problems from trauma and distress. Using a holistic approach to treatment, I am Certified EMDR provider with EMDRIA and also use many other processing interventions. I have witnessed relief from trauma-related burdens stemming from a collection of root causes or incidents.
