I’d love to help you see the changes you wish to see unfold in your life.
I help women find their inner voice to set boundaries assertively. You may have dealt with relationship or sexual trauma. Perhaps you struggle to be vulnerable in new relationships or with your partner. Many come to therapy seeking to grow their support system, or strengthen bonds with loved ones. I have helped numerous clients with dating and finding a heart-centered relationship.

Your treatment has a beginning, middle & end. I am trained and certified in many of the latest breakthrough treatments including EMDR and Brainspotting. I use these modalities because I have found them to be the most effective. The field of psychotherapy has come a long way since it began. We now know that it doesn't have to take as long as previously believed for permanent healing and change to take place. The term "neuroplasticity" refers to the brain's ability to change and rewire itself at any age or stage of life. Too often, clients participate in years of talk therapy and medication management without results.

As most of us have learned, life presents us with many opportunities for stress, anxiety and emotional turmoil. Sometimes we need professional support to help us navigate challenges in our life. Each of us is unique and therapeutic treatment must also change based on this quality. Therapy is simply a tool that can help you steer the course of your life to the best of your ability so that you can achieve your goals.I provide supportive therapy at a non-judgmental stance and hope that you will find me open and easy to talk to.

Mental health is of great importance in everyday life.
My ideal clients are those who are dealing with a wide range of challenges, primarily focused on anxiety, depression, family issues, and adjustment difficulties. They may feel overwhelmed by the weight of their emotions and struggling to navigate through their lives. However; they possess a remarkable openness to change and a genuine willingness to accept help, recognizing that they cannot overcome these obstacles alone. They need a safe space where they can express themselves freely, without fear of judgment or rejection.

Most people have mixed feelings about starting individual therapy or couples counseling, and yet you may remember happier times when life and relationships felt easier. You might be finding that everyone's friendly advice, self-help books, podcasts, and all of your existing coping mechanisms haven't worked sufficiently for you of late. By now, you want to get to the root of your present-day struggles and to come up with new endings to the same old stories. I can help. I also help couples to strengthen their connection (or to part amicably, if need be) by articulating the dynamic and teaching effective conflict-resolution skills.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
