I address relationship issues, communication difficulties, divorce/blended family needs, behavioral challenges, grief & loss, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I want to first acknowledge your decision to pursue therapy services. It takes strength and courage to choose not to go it alone. I was taught the importance of doing my own personal work, and this has given me a much deeper appreciation for what it takes to grow and heal. Therapy can be anxiety provoking, even temporarily painful. However, it can also enable you to tap into your strengths, release the past, experience lasting relief, and increase positive connections. If you are ready to start this process, please know I will be there with you for the journey.

I believe that everyone, as well as every relationship, is different and therefore requires support that is tailored to the individual.
Feeling anxious, frustrated, discouraged, or just stuck? We all experience issues but seeking help can help you navigate those difficult situations effectively. I believe we are all capable of healing and growth, sometimes we just need someone to provide us with the tools. I can provide you with those tools. We all learn, grow, and evolve within the contexts of relationships. So, I strive to create a safe space to explore, define, and redefine your sense of self, as well as your relationships, as we dismantle stigma and societal expectations.

As a therapist, I provide client-centered therapy and understand that successful treatment begins with building a strong client-therapist relationship.
Hey there! Taking the leap into therapy isn't always a walk in the park, but kudos to you for being here. I'm here to make that journey a bit less daunting, especially if you're an adolescent (13+) or young adult dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, or tangled-up relationships.

Learn to respond to life's challenges in a more productive way. Improve your relationships, increase your energy, decrease anxiety & reduce depression. Are you currently going through an unsettling time? You can still emotionally grow. Are you in a relationship that feels stuck, or toxic? You can still emotionally grow. Challenge your old habits & harmful negative thinking- Let go of old tapes saying, I'm not good enough, or that if my partner (job, etc..) was better, than I would be better; or that I'm too old to try (blank). You can feel more in control and capable of creating the life you envision.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
