I've been a licensed psychologist for 30 years. I have had long associations with outstanding hospitals such as Mt. Auburn and Mass Eye&Ear, as well as serving as Clinical Instructor in Psychology for Harvard Medical School. One of my areas of expertise is helping those of us with chronic medical conditions, for example, Arthritis, Asthma, Cancer, Cardiac Disease, Chronic Pain, Diabetes, Hypertension, and Tinnitus, to name some of the most prevalent. Generally, associated with these conditions, anxiety, depression, anger and fear are all too common.

My practice is dedicated to the treatment of complex forms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and related conditions. I use an innovative approach, known as Inferential- Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), which was developed for the treatment of OCD specifically. ICBT focuses on a doubting process, unique to obsessions, where reality and perception are overridden by imagined, irrelevant and/or implausible. ICBT is a remarkable "game-changer" for those suffering from severe OCD. ICBT also adds great value to older generations of CBT commonly used to treat other forms of anxiety

I recognize and have a deep respect for the positive impact counseling can have on one's life.
