We strive to create positive and lasting change by building a therapeutic relationship for every one of my patients. We have advanced knowledge in pharmacotherapy and developmental pediatrics.

I am primarily seeing folks for therapy and personal coaching. I am familiar with the challenges experienced by communities of Color, academics, women at transitions in life, tech professionals, and individuals experiencing parenting and relationship challenges. I am committed to walking beside you as you gain insight, learn new skills, and grow the self-belief to create the life you want to live. I firmly believe that one path does not fit all, and my life is evidence of that. I worked as a therapist prior to becoming a PMHNP, and bring diverse professional, educational and life experience to each session. Using empathy and authenticity, my goal is to help you find and live your own truth.

I practice with warmth and curiosity, accepting others where they are in the present and respecting the many experiences they arrive to it with. I am devoted to helping those I work with develop a new understanding of their patterns, desires, inner conflicts, and pain carried in the body from overwhelming life conditions and experiences. My favorite part of being a psychiatric nurse practitioner is tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, and watching each person grow and heal. She obtained her FNP degree at South University Savannah, GA and her Post-master's PMHNP degree at Liberty University, Va. She has over 9 years experience in the nursing field providing holistic care to individuals across the lifespan. She is licensed in WA, OR, NV, AZ, GA, MT, FL and TX.

I am a Board- Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to developing trusting, collaborative, and effective working relationships with my clients. I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to mental health which can include psychotherapy, lifestyle and environmental modifications, and medication when necessary. The primary services I offer include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis, medication management, as well as psychoeducation and brief therapeutic interventions.

I'm passionate about the importance of people having easy access to mental healthcare. Before joining the healthcare field, I taught in low-income and underserved communities. Seeing the impact that a lack of mental healthcare had in these areas drove me to return to school and begin a career focused on providing that much-needed care. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose, and prescribe medication. I emphasize shared and informed decision-making when tackling symptom management. Prior to Spruce, I spent the last seven years at Seattle Children's Hospital, Harborview Medical Center and teaching for the University of Washington's School of Nursing.

Ashley specializes in ADHD, PTSD and C-PTSD, mood disorders, and anxiety across the life span. She spent her career working in an inpatient substance abuse program and in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. In her free time, Ashley volunteers as a victim advocate for victims of domestic violence, homicide, and sexual assault. Ashley understands that each person has different physical, mental, and spiritual needs and each visit will focus on addressing these issues. Visits will include therapy, medication management, collaboration with treatment team and reviewing progress.

Dr. Nwokochah is a doctoral-prepared, licensed, dual-board-certified family nurse and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Dr. Nwokochah offers medication management and brief supportive therapy for clients facing challenges not limited to ADHD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Insomnia, Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, Schizophrenia, and more. I'm here to help guide you through these obstacles.

I take a collaborative approach with my patients. I like to know what my patients’ goals are so I can tailor the treatment to help them achieve their goals as much as possible. Knowing what’s important to my patients helps me know what treatments to recommend or when to suggest a change to the treatment. I find that patients experience the most success if they are open to talking about their treatment options.
