I am a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, with a specialty in addiction psychiatry with an integrative psychiatry practice based on a diagnostic assessment and treatment guided by biological, psychological, social, and behavioral paradigms. I have a developmental orientation toward understanding human behavior. I have a special interest in attachment styles and their implications in interpersonal conflict in families and couples. I have a keen interest in the phase of life problems resulting in the major transitions in development such as the passage from adolescents to young adulthood, marriage, divorce, mid life adjustments, retirement, and grief and bereavement.

I am a board certified psychiatrist with a telepsychiatric practice seeing patients in Florida and NY. I am licensed in Both Florida and New York states. My concierge practice specializes in medication management to treat psychiatric issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and all other psychiatric needs of the patient. I approach each client in a nonjudgmental manner to help decrease and eliminate symptoms and achieve treatment goals. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual.

I am a board-certified Pediatric and Adult Psychiatrist. Harvard, Mount Sinai, and Yale-trained, I have over twenty years of experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy working with complex cases in a variety of clinical settings. I have a holistic and integrative approach to my practice using art, positive psychiatry and mindfulness approaches. I use strength-based approaches to help you become more resilient and optimistic. I’m an artist (Parson’s grad) with a special interest in creativity and the arts as a healing modality. I work with professionals with burnout, depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders.

About the Provider: I am a Board Certified, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, (PMHNP-BC). I obtained my prfessional degree from Walden University. Over the years, I had professional affiliations with reputable mental health facilities including Bakersfield behavior, John George psych and more. I treat children and adults affected by various mental illness with care and compassion. I utilize Evidence Based Practice model to make treatment choices. I am specialized in treating ADHD, depression, anxiety and mood instability. Stimulant and non stimulant treatment are available. I do conduct ADHD screening and testing before treatment.

We are all faced with unexpected hurdles at many stages in life. This aspect of human nature makes me a strong advocate for nurturing our mental health from a young age and throughout our lives. I am here to partner with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Olga Katz, MD is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and a recognized expert in treating psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents and adults. As the founder and Medical Director of Crasmere Psychiatric Services for 23 years, Dr. Olga Katz dedicated her career to improving the mental health of her patients. She utilizes bio psychosocial model which allows her to focus on the appropriate medications and psychodynamic psychotherapy to successfully treating the most challenging variety of psychiatric pathologies, including Panic Disorder, ADHD, Mood Disorders, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD.

My interest in medicine can be traced back to my early childhood. I come from a family with several generations of physicians. My father, a pediatrician, had the greatest influence on me. What amazed me the most about him was the amount of care and genuine concern that he demonstrated for his patients, which in my mind are essential for an ideal physician. I received my bachelors degree from Columbia University, majoring in psychology. I completed my psychiatric nurse practitioner training at NYU with a clinical focus in child/adolescent psychiatry. Since then I have worked extensively with adolescents coming out of intensive care programs for psychosis and children/adolescents with neurodiversity. I am also an adjunct faculty at NYU School of Nursing teaching inpatient psychiatric clinicals. I provide various psychiatric assessment and treatment, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual therapy, school collorations and genetic testing. A typical initial evaluation is 90 minutes and the follow-ups are 30 minutes.
