I am a board-certified psychiatrist working in private practice in Westchester county (Harrison) as well as Greenwich Village. In addition to my practice, I am affiliated with NYU Child Study Center as an Adjunct Faculty Member, and I am a volunteer faculty member at New York Medical College. Previously, I was an attending psychiatrist at the Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Medical Center, and an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York Medical College.

I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 8 years of nursing experience. I am familiar with depression, anxiety, insomnia as well as the panic disorder, bipolar 2 and adhd disorders. I like to educate my clients about mental health and medications, proper drug use and interactions, adverse drug reactions, and the course and prognosis of mental illness.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and have over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. As a BIPOC provider I believe navigating clients’ life challenges through an intersectional lens is necessary in order to heal. My approach offers clients a holistic and integrative approach to treatment. Along with a functional medicine in lieu of medication management, I provide supportive psychotherapy that incorporates and skills based techniques.

He is the Medical Director of ED-180 Eating Disorder Treatment Programs which provides custom intensive treatment programs for patients in the Long Island/NYC area. He is also an author, a lecturer and the founder and host of the annual Long Island Conference on Eating Disorders. He oversees a full staff of therapists and clinicians at his offices.

Dr. Milena Goldshmidt is a new addition to the Talkiatry network which allows her the luxury of working from home after the new addition to her family. She is double boarded in Adult Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine. She has been practicing for 10 years. Dr. Goldshmidt's focus is on medication management as well as supportive and emotionally focused therapy. She gives ample time during new patient appointments and has 30-minute follow sessions. She also is a believer in additional therapy is needed and/or additional medical and procedural therapies if needed to provide the best care and outcomes to her patients.

Abigail Frimpong is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. Abigail is the CEO and the Founder of Mental Peace Psychiatry. Abigail has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations suffering from serious physical ailments with comorbid psychiatric, mental, behavioral, and substance use disorders in the emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr Alvarez is a triple board-certified psychiatrist with years of clinical experience and academic leadership. Her practice integrates cutting-edge treatments with a patient-centered focus. During her career, Dr Alvarez has been a champion in working with Primary Care Doctors, specialists, Therapists, Nutritionist, health coaches, nursing, and other medical providers to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
