I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with a rich experience in Psychiatry. I was Clinical Director of an in-patient child and adolescent unit for 6 years and I have worked managing patients of all age groups in the out-patient setting. I have a special interest in treating Mood Disorders, ADHD and Anxiety Disorders. Life presents challenges and I help individuals develop appropriate ways to be successful at overcoming these difficulties. I provide a warm private and confidential setting that engenders hope and trust.
In my practice, I use pharmacotherapy in conjunction with interpersonal and cognitive behavioral therapy to treat all age groups. Patients want to be tell their story and I am a good listener. I provide psychotherapy with medication management and I am interested in the general health of my patients.
I am very thorough in my evaluations and I am not rushed in dealing with my patients.I work diligently to form a relationship with patients so they feel comfortable to tell me about their feelings and symptoms. I am flexible with scheduling and I am easily available by phone.
