About
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Board Certified Nurse Coach providing medication management and psychotherapy for clients in need of mental health services. In my capacity as a Nurse Coach, Psych Nurse, and Psychiatric NP, I have worked with adult clients experiencing stress, anxiety, marginalization, PTSD, situational and generational traumas, and individuals with co-occurring mental and physical health challenges.
My therapeutic approach is Client-Centered integrated with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, and Motivational Interviewing therapies appropriate to meet your unique situation. I am also trained in CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), mindfulness and imagery therapies.
I believe mental health care is a therapeutic partnership between provider and client. I believe knowledge is power. Treatment plans and goals are not just dictated, they are explained, established and worked on together in a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment.
