Lori Sloan, PMHNP-BC Lori Sloan is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina who has been practicing since 1995. She is Board certified by the ANCC in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing as a registered nurse prior to becoming an advanced practice psychiatric nurse. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mount Olive and a Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University. Lori has an ability to cultivate therapeutic relationships with patients with empathy and respect by allowing them to express concerns and worries without fear of judgment.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) passionate about helping individuals become mentally fit. My background includes child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and I treat a broad range of psychiatric disorders. I am passionate about addressing clients holistically, as our brain health is largely impacted by not only genetic factors but lifestyle factors. I offer psychotropic medication management, therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle guidance.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I have 9 years of experience in mental health in a variety of settings. I have extensive experience working with patients across the lifespan and a variety of gender identities and backgrounds. I have treated a range of mental health disorders including but not limited to: schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, personality disorders, and behavioral developmental disorders.

Recovery is not one size fits all and we are all more than a diagnosis. For many people medication can be an important piece of the wellness puzzle.  I look forward to being able to help my patients improve their quality of life with  personalized care and responsible use of medication.

Jordan is a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She believes in patient-centered care, not only trusting her own knowledge but using the patient’s opinions and goals to mediate care in hopes to overall improve the individual’s daily life. She feels that involving the individual who seeks care with every decision will bring the individual closer to their goals, improve how they feel overall, and improve the outcome of care. She promotes healthy eating, exercise, and calming techniques such as meditation and yoga.

Retired from a rewarding career in Army healthcare of over 20 years, I continue to provide empathic evidence based care for management of a broad spectrum of behavioral health disorders in the adult population, to include certification in perinatal mental health.

Dr. Alison Riehm is a board-certified psychiatrist and helps with anxiety and mood disorders and women’s mental health. Dr. Riehm has a holistic, collaborative approach and prioritizes getting to know her patients beyond their symptoms to create a treatment plan that helps them achieve their goals.
