After years of treating psychiatric disorders, I maintain that my best teachers are my patients. I have over 5 years of experience working with adults with a myriad of psychiatric illnesses, but I have a vested interest in LGBTQ+ mental healthcare, treatment-resistant depression, personality disorders, and trauma-based disorders. Appointments are patient centered, and your goals are my goals.
You know yourself best. I believe that treatment plans should be individualized and developed in a collaborative manner between provider and patient. I use an evidence-based, harm-reduction approach to treatment planning that includes lifestyle modifications, medication management, and psychotherapy to get patient’s feeling themselves again.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, weightlifting, playing kickball, exploring my local community, playing video games, and completing house projects.
