In addition to being a Nurse Practitioner, I have been a psychiatric RN for 37 years. Prior to entering Yale, I worked for 7 years on a major Harvard Medical School psychiatric teaching unit. I am a conservative prescriber and believe in using the smallest possible dosages of medication to treat a client's symptoms. I do very thorough initial evaluations with my clients and work with them closely until they are stable on their medications.

She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to joining our staff, she was the Associate Medical Director of the Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Montefiore Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Helen Daly is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York who has been practicing since 2019. She has an AAS RN from Arapahoe Community College, a BSN, Magna Cum Laude from Molloy University and an MSN, APRN, PMHNP from Molloy University. Helen listens. I started my career doing an internship at a prestigious children’s hospital in the Texas Medical Center on an adolescent GI unit where I was able to work with individuals with eating related disorders. I then went on to complete my Bachelors in Nursing Degree and began working as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Unit caring for the psychiatric population.
