I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in the area of psychiatry. This includes diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medication for children, adolescents, adults as well as providing individual talk/psychotherapy services. Areas of expertise include but not limited to; diagnosis, treatment and management of ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, interventional treatments and Insomnia among many other psychiatric conditions. The experience I’ve gained by working in different psychiatric settings over the last 12 years has been very instrumental to my practice as a psychiatric provider.
I like to describe my style of practice as a blend between traditional (prescribing up to date psychiatric medications) and alternative medicine. I believe that the mind, body, spiritual and soul aspects of a person are all interconnected; thus, they play a huge role in one’s overall physical, mental and emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
