As a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with over 45 years of experience, I have extensive experience treating patients with a wide range of psychiatric and psychological disorders. For fees, I work flexibly with those patients who have out of network coverage so they are reimbursed.

Dr. Graydon Goss was raised in Tinton Falls, NJ. He attended Christian Brothers Academy, Brown University and Dartmouth Medical School receiving his Doctorate in Medicine in 1977. After training in Psychiatry and Child / Adolescent Psychiatry at Los Angeles County General Hospital and U.S.C. Medical Center, he served as Chief of the LA County Adolescent Psychiatric Crisis Unit. In 1998 he returned to NJ, where he utilizes skills developed over 38 years of practice addressing the complex problems which face today's teens and their families. Unlike many psychiatrists he provides talk and behavioral psychotherapies as well as psychopharmacology.

He received his bachelor’s master’s and doctoral education from Rutgers University and a post-masters from Wilkes University. Dr. Kusi is highly esteemed among his clients who speak well of his respect, love for his profession, and compassion he expressed while providing care. He believes the client is the most important person in the treatment arena and not only should be listened to, but also the focus should be on.

The practice of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, as well as Adult Psychiatry, is as exciting as it is varied. This specialty is truly one of the last bastions in modern medicine that allows the practitioner to 'connect' with the patient, and one where the value of the patient's input is not underestimated. My clinical interests include childhood and adolescent depression, other mood disorders, ADHD, child and adolescent anxiety disorders such as OCD, and post traumatic stress disorder. Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.
