At Maple Psychiatry, I help children, adolescents and young adults who are struggling with self acceptance, worry, irritability, sadness and difficulty in relationships who crave change for themselves. I am a board certified psychiatrist specializing in both adult psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine. My areas of particular interest and expertise include medication simplification, issues related to chronic illness and death anxiety, as well as broader issues related to anxiety, addiction, depression, trauma, anger, and relationships. My approach in session is largely integrative, heavily informed by psychoanalytic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and relational life therapy concepts. I am a member of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and have been recognized as one of New Jersey's Best in Medicine.
