We may work with depth and transpersonal psychology, dreams, non-drug psychedelic states of consciousness, and hypnosis. I also offer acupuncture, ayurvedic medicine, meditation techniques, EMDR, and holotropic breathwork.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a focus on managing care for patients with depression, anxiety, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I have always been fascinated with how the mind works and how the role of an individual’s relationships, genetics, and environmental factors contribute to their well-being. At age sixteen, I enrolled in college with a particular interest in child development, which expanded my curiosity about psychiatric conditions and holistic treatment approaches.

I'm happy to meet you for: (1) traditional dynamic psychotherapy — only flexible, non-stuffy, and straightforward; (2) recognition of mind-body medicine, i.e., how the body affects the mind, and vice versa; (3) prescription writing when needed in addition to psychotherapy, with a light touch and full attention to pros and cons. The ideal patient appears successful on the outside, but suffers longstanding dissatisfaction or self-defeating behavior. Examples include prolonged reactions to trauma or grief, undue guilt or self-blame, or a pattern of interpersonal conflicts.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in downtown San Francisco. I offer psychotherapy, medication consultation, at-home mental health evaluation, and guided meditation sessions. After training in psychology at Harvard University, I received my medical training at the University of California, San Diego. I completed my internship and psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where I pursued research in mindfulness and technology.

I am an addiction and general psychiatrist. I practice evidence-based treatment and Medication Assisted Treatment for addictive disorders (Suboxone, Naltrexone). I can help you achieve control over your addiction (Opioids like Heroin, Oxycontin, Vicodin, alcohol, cocaine, methamphetamine, and/or tobacco). I am a general psychiatrist as well and you don't need to be addicted in order to seek help.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I have extensive experience in individual psychotherapy and medication management. I believe in healing and growth through self-knowledge and that care must be individualized to suit each client's needs. I work with clients suffering from depression & mood disturbance, anxiety and addiction. My other specialties include young adult issues/college students, relationship issues, eating issues, women's health and perinatal mental health concerns.

I embrace a collaborative approach with my patients. I want to provide knowledge and experience so as to empower my patients to make informed decisions about their available treatment options. My style is grounded in the mind-body connection by blending mindfulness, behaviors, and holistic interventions with medications.

Problems I try to help people sort out include loss and grief, the impact of loss on relationships and the meaning of a life indelibly altered; illness, new or a new stage of it, and how it impacts one's sense of self, potential, and meaning; identity, related to race, ethnicity, sexuality or gender; the complexity of parenting or having difficult parents; and ordinary but intimidating transition from one stage of life to another, the changes to the body, meaning, and connections to others that come with these transitions.

I'm a board-certified, integrative pediatric and adult psychiatrist. I work with people interested in targetting root causes of suffering as much as possible. We know that for many, the roots can be psychological and in brain connections/wiring. New therapies allow us to target both of these more than ever.: Neurofeedback, TMS, Genetic and EEG markers that can personalize lifestyle, supplement and medication treatment. As a psychiatrist, I specialize in managing a range of mental health conditions, from mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder to treatment-resistant depression and various anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, and panic disorder. I also have experience treating psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, as well as substance use disorders and addictions.
