About
I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I have extensive experience in individual psychotherapy and medication management. I believe in healing and growth through self-knowledge and that care must be individualized to suit each client's needs. I work with clients suffering from depression & mood disturbance, anxiety and addiction. My other specialties include young adult issues/college students, relationship issues, eating issues, women's health and perinatal mental health concerns.
I have a varied approach, and I completed a fellowship in Psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy from the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. When appropriate, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy approaches, and medication management. I am interested in partnering with clients to achieve wellness and a peaceful existence.
I am happy to work with clients who are interested in psychotherapy only, medication management only, or clients who are looking for a provider to do both. Contact me for an initial phone consultation. Please visit my website: www.miriamlundy.com
