Dr. Ben received his MD from Cornell University, his BA from Williams College, and completed his residency in general psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He has served as Chief Resident of the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai and has been featured on NBC's Today show.

I have expert knowledge of evaluation, medication treatment and psychotherapy. My approach is to listen carefully, understand your particular needs then tailor customized treatments. For those already in psychotherapy or not having that need, I am happy to provide medication treatment alone. I will monitor your responses to medication carefully so that you do not experience side effects and to see your gains are maximized. I practice an interpersonal form of psychotherapy.
