Music takes the healing process deeper. It doesn't matter if you have never played music before. The music is my job - you just show up an open yourself up to the experience. Together we'll figure out your goals, such as learning how to deal with difficult emotions, overcome difficult struggles, enjoy healthier relationships, or live a more fulfilling life. Talking is important in music therapy, but music allows us to go deeper.
Several years of training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery in Music allow me to use music as a depth psychotherapy tool in a way that can help you transform your life. In the way that music can transport you to a different time and place when you listen to it, music therapy creates a safe place to explore your emotions.
