Hello! I’m Jen and I specialize in working with the queer community, trauma, and substance use (you do not need to qualify for all or any of these to come see me). If complex trauma and PTS/D symptoms are things you struggle with, I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting. In my office you choose what you’d like to address and what is off limits. This is your space to explore and process what you need and want to. You are the only expert of yourself. I like to meet you where you’re at and explore what is challenging and/or painful. My goal is to help my community heal and find wholeheartedness and acceptance, exactly as you are.
I am an EMDR therapist, Brainspotting trained, and a Certified Trauma Specialist for individual therapy. I’m currently a doctoral student researching the intersection of the LGBTQIA community, trauma, and substance use at JMU. I am committed to staying up to date on the most evidence based and effective trauma modalities for my clients.
You deserve a safe loving space to heal and it’s my privilege to be able to provide that. You matter so very much. It would be my honor to be with you on this part of your journey. You are worthy of mental wellness and deserve to focus on yourself and your needs. Please be well and know that you are so deserving of healing, connectedness and happiness.
