My therapeutic style is rooted in mutual respect and understanding; believing that with a safe and nonjudgmental environment, a more satisfying life can be achieved. With compassion, understanding and humor, we address thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors to promote meaningful growth. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, grief and couples.
Psychotherapy is a delicate balance of science and art. It is this balance that helps patients feel safe to share and explore their experiences. I integrate a strength based treatment style to motivate clients in making the changes they desire. My style is holistic: integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness and Adlerian modalities.
