About
Have you wanted to change things in your life but don't know where to start? Do you have difficulty dealing with your thoughts? Do you feel shame or guilt often? Are you self- critical? I work with people to support and empower them to understand what's going on for them, identifying what may help them to enjoy life again. For some that may be gaining self-confidence, feeling less stressed/anxious/stuck or simply better sleep . Counselling can feel scary but can be the first important step in investing in yourself. I will move at your pace, offering a non-judgemental, calm, kind space for you to explore what's challenging you.
I have worked extensively with adults, with a variety of issues and I specialise in working with anxiety and depression which can leave people feeling powerless, frustrated, angry and unfulfilled leading to emotional distress and behaviours such as putting yourself last and comparing yourself to others.
Therapy can help those in crisis and for those who are struggling in life, in relationships, in their work or private life. Together we can tackle what's challenging you and help you work through your associated feelings, thoughts and behaviours to find better coping strategies and help you gain new insights to improve your wellbeing.
