I describe myself as a transformational therapist not because it is trendy but because my approach is centred on transformation. We all experienced trauma in one form or another, no parent who has ever lived could meet every need we had as children. We all have parts of ourselves that we have cut off, disowned, or devalued. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved EMDR Consultant. My psychotherapy practice focuses on the treatment of individuals who experience Complex PTSD, and Dissociation from adverse childhood experiences, and PTSD from adult trauma. My therapeutic approach incorporates EMDR, Somatic Psychology and CBT. Adjunctive therapies include Mindfulness Mediation.
