Maggie Rowe grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. She received her B.A. from Cornell University in English Literature and her M.F.A. from UCLA in theatrical performance. She is the author of Easy Street: A Story of Redemption from Myself and Sin Bravely: A Memoir of Spiritual Disobedience (NPR book of the year). She wrote the film Bright Day: An Expose of Hollywood’s Fastest Growing New Religion with Andersen Gabrych and has written for television shows, including Flaked and Arrested Development. Maggie cohosts the podcast 50 Words for Snow with Welsh Cohost Emily Garces.
